She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree from the Northern Caribbean University, where she studied Business Administration with an emphasis in accounting. She is a member of the Florida International Bankers Association (FIBA) and a recent member of the Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (ACAMS).
