3. Private (or Family) Trust Companies

 

A paper introducing trustee entities set up specifically to serve a particular family or group. This vehicle is increasingly popular for those with complex financial interests. It can provide additional flexibility, more involvement and enhanced control for family members, whilst avoiding troublesome liability issues for the professional trustees.

5. Available by Request from the Trust Company

 

The following free publications are available upon request from the Trust Company.

CORIATS Brochure, describing the principal activities of the Trust Company;

Trusts in the TCI, a detailed presentation booklet explaining the features and advantages of TCI trust law, as well as outlining possible uses and available services;

General Terms and Conditions upon which CORIATS accept appointment and act as Trustees;

Companies Fact Sheet, a summary of the provisions in TCI which affect the formation and administration of companies (for comparison with other jurisdictions); and

Partnerships Fact Sheet, summarising the formation and administration of Limited Partnerships and Limited Life Companies in TCI.
